Florida head coach Jim McElwain was visibly upset after the hit and was seen charging midfield to have a word with the officials and the North Texas sideline.Appleby is a former starting quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers. The former transfer threw for 2,777 yards and 19 touchdowns in 16 games during a three-year run with the Boilermakers.The Gators face off against the Tennessee Volunteers in a matchup of ranked 3-0 teams vying for supremacy in the SEC East.last_img
